Week 1
They started construction May 1st - here we see her on May 4th - by next Saturday, when we visit again we should see all the stiffeners in, the bow fabricated and the bulkheads in.
Launch date is now Friday 24th - less than 3 weeks away - time to get licence and insurance sorted.
Week 2
Well - we've been to see TCW again - at first sight we thought they'd not progressed far until we realised they had been concentrating on the stern - the most complicated part of the boat - which is now almost complete. One mistake - we asked for an extended stern rail which had been forgotten - no problem - they'll fix it - roll on next week when we've been promised the shell will be almost finished!!!!
Week 3
The shell is just about finished - just a touch of dressing off and some paint. The engine is due in Monday/Tuesday next week along with the ballast and flooring. We have booked the transport for next Friday - so launch pictures next week!
Next week - on the lorry and in the water!
