By the time we get to the lounge I shall be very happy! - estimated spring 2003?
So much for estimates! - Lounge was usable during 2004 but we are still finishing off in 2005!
Left to do is the seat covers - we have the sponge for the seats and Bev's going to have a go covering them -
This is what it looks like now:

The front doors are double - the outer steel ones are lined with a wooden casing and when shut look like this:

The inner doors are fitted with safety glass and allow plenty of light into the boat also allowing Bev to see where we're going when she's inside To the right you can see the solid fuel stove which heats the lounge and also one radiator in the bedroom - If you are in doubt as to whether or not to have a stove - Have one! - it really does give a lovely heat, airs the boat and is economical. The water is pumped to the rear radiator - I used a central heating pump on min setting, running off the small inverter - no problems so far. |
To the left is the entertainment! TV, DVD, Video, Freeview box and 6 CD autochanger/radio/tape. The unit is still to be finished cosmetically but its all functional. Everything runs from the large inverter except for the 12V car radio/cd/tape
